ACP Composites Announces AS9100 Certification

LIVERMORE, CA, January 1, 2022:  ACP Composites, a leading manufacturer of composite solutions, has achieved certification to the AS9100 Rev. D aerospace quality standard at their Livermore, California facility.  This certification to the standard signifies ACP’s ongoing commitment to meeting and exceeding increasingly stringent industry requirements for aerospace related products.

Adding AS9100 certification strengthens ACP’s competitive position and standardizes quality system and business management processes across the organization. AS9100 is the international quality management system standard for the Aircraft, Space and Defense (AS&D) industry and AS9100 Rev. D is the most current standard. The standard provides manufacturing suppliers with requirements of a comprehensive quality management system for providing safe and reliable products. AS9100 is managed by the International Aerospace Quality Group (IAQG) and based upon ISO 9001.

Operations at ACP received AS9100 certification following extensive quality management system audits by Intertek, a premier assurance, inspection, product testing and certification company.
